Hi, I'm having an issue you with my BT where it crashes my whole computer whenever my d/l speed get nice and high. It seems that when ever my d/l gets somehwere between 90-150 kb/s my comp freezes and then reboots. It also apparent will freeze at low download speeds as well, I'm bginning to believe that it freezes do to the number of connections I have to peers and seeds rather than, the speed of the download. Which I've always found strange since I can do direct downloads and IRC downloads at 500+ kb/s. Regardless, this an increasingly annoying issue. I would also mention that my PC is more prone to crashing when using Azureus rather than Bit Torrent or Bit Tornado, though both programs will cause eventual crashes to my computer. Basically, I was just wondering if anyone could tell me why this is happening and if anyone has a clue how I can fix it. Just tidbits about my PC, I have an AMD Athlon 3000+, 512 MB, 120 GB, Netgear FA311 network card, I'm behind a Firewall, Norton Internet Security 2005, and use a router. Note also this problem generally only happens when I do a direct connect from my modem to PC, but can also happen behind the router at times. On my router, I usually can't get past a 20-30 kb/s download speed. Any insight on that would also be appreciated.
