Quick question about AVI's

Hi there, completely new to this app and i have a quick question :

Some of the avi files i have total around 700mb each, i have managed to use the app to put 2 of these files (totalling around 1.5gb) onto one DVD, probably around almost 4 hours of viewing.

Other avi files i have are roughly 1.5gb, but equate to a similar viewing time as the 700mb ones. Can i still get 2 of these onto one DVD (i.e. 2 * 1.5gb), as it seems the actual viewing time is around the same. Will the quality suffer greatly when doing this ? Would i need to just use the "Autofit" option ? Or would i need to use DVDShrink or something first ?

The larger avi probably have a higher bitrate they were encoded in, so yes you'll have some quality loss. But you can still put several on the disc you'll just loose quality with the more you put on the disc. You can also use the matrix option to help with the quality loss

Because the duration is the same the encoded bitrate will be approx the same (and so will the size)... I think the quality will be better as the sources have a higer bitrate.

Thanks guys, so when i load them up and say put a total of 4 avi files onto one DVD, 2 per title, should i just use that Autofit feature and away i go ?
