When I make a dvd with the new release the menu is very "sticky" in both Power dvd and my standalone. The problem on my pc is it almost freezes everything up with very slow and jerky mouse movements while the menu is playing. While playing the movie itself, there is no such problem. On my standalone, it takes about 10 seconds to move to the next titleset on the menu (I had several titlesets). Fortunately I had an older copy lying around here on my HD (version 2.0.2029.16323) and it encodes the menu just fine for me. Is anyone else having this problem? I would like to use the new additions like custom matrices but unfortunately I can't.

Is it an audio menu? If so have you tried the "Encode video to audio duration" setting? Or have you tried with no audio or a different audio file? If it is not an audio menu or the above doesn't work, can you email me & we can do some diagnostics offline?

It is an audio menu and I haven't tried the "Encode video to audio duration" setting. I'll try what you suggested and get back to you. Thanks for the reply.
