  1. I have a winpvr250 card and just changed my set up to include a cyrus one amp and mission speakers and a sounblaster card.

When capturing video before i added the amp everything was in stereo, now i've added the amp the tv is stereo but my videos are only coming out one speaker, anyone any suggestions as on how to fix it.

    thanks

  2. My audio in and out go into my tv card from my video , my cyrus 1 goes into the black rear out jack on my soundcard, if i buy an adaptor and plug the audio in\out and my amp into an adaptor then into the black rear out on my soundcard would this solve my problem?

Just to clarify, do you mean you are only capturing one channel? Or is this only on playback?

Two things that may be obvious are: Are you sure the plugs are all the way into the socket for the audio? Part way in will only give you one channel. The other is your sound card control panel balance control.

I'm not sure if the PVR250 captures in stereo, but you should still have left and right sound.

  4. All the plugs are all the way in and the balance is correct, the tv and my mp3 files are playing stereo, it's just my video recorder thats are only coming out one speaker making my captures do the same.

  5. Here's a few pic of the back of my pc, i went out and bought a stereo 3.5mm jack splitter, took the audio from my pvr and coupled it up with the aux cable from my amp and plugged both into my soundcard, no joy still one speaker.

this is doing my head in
