My normal computer has an ATI All-in-Wonder Radeon and is running MMC 8.9. One of the capturing options on this is motion detect. I've put together another computer from a load of bits that I had laying around and intend using it as a security system. What I want to do is hide it in a place that I expect to get broken into (long story) and capture footage of the break in as it happens. The system is using an old ATI All-in-Wonder Rage 128 AGP card and I'm giving it a composite video input from a concealed video camera. The problem is, I've loaded it with MMC 7.7 which is the latest I have that I know works with this card and it doesn't have the motion detection option.
What is the earliest version of MMC that had Motion Detection and is it early enough to work with the card I have? Otherwise, anyone know of a suitable bit of software that will work with it?

According to the ATI system check, MMC 7.7 and above requires a Radeon for full functionality. If my memory is correct, 7.2 is the last release that officially supports the Rage 128 and of course doesn't have motion detect. Unfortunately, I don't know what release is the first that has it, but I suspect that the further away from 7.2 you get, the worse it will work with the Rage card.
