Hi, i've tried using a variety of converters to convert my avi file. From avi2dvd to film machine. All have the same problem, it'll take hours and the log will say that everything was completed and all proper filesize. But their will be no converted output file in the save directory. i'll get the ac3 sound file with avisynth script etc..., but no video file. Or an m2v that won't play. This is using all the correct options. The video and audio folders for the dvd are empty, but according to the log, everything completed fine. Does anybody have a clue as to what is happening?

open your avi with gspot or VideoInspector or aviCodec. post the results back here for both the video and audio. then we can probably help you.
I said I'll be done in a minute. I meant a Microsoft minute. -

Sorry about the lack info, it was late. I've tried using all of the encoders contained in avi2dvd, and film machine is based on the same ones. I used the default avisynth script with no changes. This time around, I noticed that everything was fine until 3:2 pulldown program came up. It ran completely normally till the end then said failed. I was left with the video and audio streams seperately. I tried to multiplex them and came up with a working file, that for whatever reason is 25 mins shorter than the original avi. However individually, the streams are both of the right lenght. I tried using quenc this time.
