    Is there any way of adding a timer to virtualdub,so i can set it to record a
    particular program at a set time.I like the way virtualdub captures and you
    can choose your own codec,I'm using divx 5.21pro but i need a timer.If there is'nt can any one recommend any software that will allow me also to
    configure the divx codec within the software

    There's this one, apparently for ATI capture cards: VideoWDMControl v2.2

    Looks like this is one site for it: http://www.asvzzz.com/download.htm Watch out for the adware there.

    There may be others, though this is the only one I have heard of. Never used it, though.

    I'd use Macro Magic and create macros to control the starting and stopping of virtualdub, then configure them to run through Windows Scheduled Tasks.

    there is a program that works with virtual dub i have it somewhere i will email it to you when i find it, do a search on the web for virtual dub timer and you might find it. it was wrote just for virtual dub.

  5. There are two that I am aware of. VD Start Pro and VD Timer. I think I used VD Start Pro. I don't remember if I found them on this site or not.

  6. I once wrote one.
    You'll find it at my links page together with some other versions based on it.
    It's visual Basic w. sources so it's easy to modify for other purposes.
    However I found that the sendkeys function used may not be 100% reliable, reason unknown. Try at your own risk.
