hi guys i usually try to fix all my problems on my pc alone. thats why thats my first post here. the site helped me a lot and now i m having a prbm that i cannot fix.

    here is the prbm.
    i have installed
    ac3filter_0_70b
    XviD-1.1.-127-13102004
    lame mp3
    some stuff from Nimo50Build9Beta1
not all. just these i needed
    latest ffdshow
    and avisynth 2.55

the prbm is when i try to demux ann ac3 sound from an avi.
    File : 1.35 GB (1.35 GB), duration: 1:51:04, type: AVI, 1 audio stream(s), quality: 76 %

    Video : 1.4 GB, 1348 Kbps, 25.0 fps, 640*320 (2.0:1), XVID = XVID Mpeg-4, Supported

    Audio : 305 MB, 384 Kbps, 48000 Hz, 6 channels, 0x2000 = AC3 DVM, Supported

    i demux with VirtualDubMod -->stream-->stream list -->demux

when demuxing is over the file is not ac3 at all
its not even a music file.
AVIcodec and GSpot dont recognise it
when i drag drop it on TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6 to make a dvd
    i get this error

on DVD-lab PRO i get this strange one

and the final resault from avicodec is this

    File : 305 MB (305 MB), duration: 0:00:00, type: DSH, 1 audio stream(s), quality: 72 %

    Audio : 305 MB, 384 Kbps, 48000 Hz, 6 channels, 0x1 = MS PCM, Supported

here i must say that the same prbm is with all my avi vids with ac3 sound.
i allreaddy have reinstall all codecs ffdshow and everything 3 times

    hope someone can help me.
the prbm started when i first removed my codecs and i reistalled them cause
    Subtitle Workshop
    wasnt loading my avi files.
all strange prbms hapened to me

ps after dvdlabpro "fixed the ac3" the file lost 1 kb only

    And did it load ?

You could also try AC3fix to repair the headers. Basically, it looks like a poorly encoded or subsequently corrupted AC3 audio track. If it can't be repaired, then there isn't much you can do. The hazards of downloading.

    I'd suggest AVIMuxGUI for demuxing.

You downloaded a codec pack because you wanted AVISynth and ffdshow?
    AVISynth download: http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/avisynth2/
Info on new ffdshow builds (mine and others): http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=98600&goto=lastpost
