    Anyone back up this movie?

Neither DVDcrypter, DVDFabDecrypter, nor DVDShrink was able to pull the last four or five titlesets, inc. IFO's, off the disc. All gave me errors.

I'm thinking I may have to exchange the original disc.

Well, since it ripped the main movie and the trouble started at VTS/IFO 6.0 to the end, I figured it was the disc.

No problem here. Used DVDcrypter file mode, DVDSHRINK re-author movie only. COPYTODVD to burn.

No problems here either, although I used about the simplest method there is. I used ISO read mode in DVD Decrypter (version 3.5.4.0), then ISO write mode in DVD Decrypter to put it onto a double layer disc (wanted to backup the DTS track and not shrink the movie too much).

Is yours the widescreen version of the unrated director's cut (mine is)? Because I saw that they also had a full screen version. Maybe they (intentionally) put mastering errors in the full screen version? If it plays on the player/computer without freezing then there's probably not a problem with the disc.

Widescreen. Since it's only the last 4 or 5 titles, and they're not the main movie, the disc plays. I guess it never reads those titles unless I select them through the menu.

But ripping programs stop when they reach that part of the disc, and since they're missing from the rip, Shrink gives errors and stops during analize.

They gotta be the FBI warnings and stuff like that.

Wish I could just shrink the main movie but Shrink wants all the titles there b4 it lets you select just the main movie.

  8. No problems here, I take it we're talking about the R1 Unrated version ?

I used the last DVD Decryptor without any problems when I converted it for use with my Archos.
