I am looking for a program that will allow me to cut a sub file to match cuts i make to video.
i am converting mkv files to mpeg2 for buring to dvd, and i need to cut time from the converted mpeg files, such as intros, etc. i also need the sub files cut to match each cut, is there any program will do an exact job of this? i dont want to cuase the subs to be miss timed, etc.
i use tmpgenc to convert the avi to mpeg2, besweet for the audio, mpeg video wizard for cutting out the parts of video i dont need, and dvd-lab pro to author my dvds. does anyone know if mpeg wizard allows for this or another program that will? thanks

I've altered subs in subtitle workshop. It's pretty precise, since you can alter the times on any line of dialogue to whatever you need. It's easy to work with, too. Not much of a learning curve. I usually just get the video time codes I need in virtualdub, enter/edit them in subtitle workshop, and that's it.
