Hey all,
I find the slideshow feature of Movie Studio missing a feature that I really need (or maybe what I'm trying to do isn't technically a "slideshow").
I need to have a series of pages that the user clicks through using their chapter Next and chapter Prev buttons - i.e., a "manual" slideshow. The reason for this is that I have a little 30-question trivia quiz that I want them to be able to go through - one slide is the question, next is the answer, question, answer, etc. Obviously I want them to go through at their own pace.
I know this is pretty common on studio-made dvds because this is how they do picture galleries and scripts, etc., so I'm sure it's nothing terribly difficult.
Anyone point me in the obvious direction?
Thanks,
Sped
Edit: I think the feature described may be called "stills gallery" - thanks.

If you are looking for what I am looking for...I haven't found it either. I want each photo in my slideshows to read as a "chapter"...never found that button on my software either...

After doing some more searching for this feature, I'm beginning to think that we're not alone in our quest. Seems like none of the standard packages have this option...
I suppose it could be done with just creating a series of menus and use the navigation buttons instead of the chapter buttons (which, come to think of it, is how the commerical DVDs do it anyway).
Sounds like a lot of manual work though....

If no continuous sound is required, it is possible with a lot of DVD authoring programms. Just create the 'slideshow' as menu pages... Then it is even possible (but only with quite flexible authoring programms) to have different 'slides' shown after a 'correct' or a 'wrong' answer.
