I have some clips that I am trying to blend together using tmpgenc dvd author, but the program is telling me the the 6-channel clips and 2-channel clips cannot be combined. That is understandable. How (without re-ripping all of the clips again) can I upconvert the 2-channel tracks or down convert the 6-channel tracks to make the disc work properly. Honestly, the audio quality isn't that important to me for this particular disc, but upconverting would be faster because there are fewer of the 2-channel tracks.
Thanks - Lockheede

Find the 6 channel audio, demux it to 6 mono wav files, use your audio editing software to mix them down to a stereo output
or
Split your stereo into 2 mono wav files, duplicate until you have six files, then encode to 5.1
The first will give you better quality.
ffmpeggui or besweet will be your freeware tools for this.Read my blog here.

Thanks for the reply. I guess that takes me to the next step...how do I extract the audio from the VOB/IFO files and re-encode back to that format?
