i,ve been using this prog for a few months now,but now having a problem joining files, when clicking on 'make quick dvd' it now comes up with 'two title sets' anyway what happens is that it only seems to burn the first file,i did'nt have this problem b4 just recent,i've looked through the options and tried a couple of thing but to no avail, also i've seen in another thread about joining the two rar files (how do i do this),which is the better option?,i know its probebly something simple but i carnt figure it.
    thanks

Ok. When using "Quick DVD", SVCD2DVD will try to work out how the DVD should be laid out in terms of TitleSets.

It does this by considering Asset files from different folders to be from different movies (and so will create new TitleSets for each folder your assets are in). Also if your Assets have different basenames it will assume a new movie (and TitleSet) too.

    I.e.:

    Code:
    FolderA\movie1a.mpg
    FolderA\movie1b.mpg
    FolderA\movie1c.mpg

    FolderB\movie2a.mpg
    FolderB\movie2b.mpg
    FolderB\movie2c.mpg
Will create two TitleSets: one containg the files from FolderA and one containing the files from FolderB.

    Code:
    FolderA\movie2a.mpg
    FolderA\Film2a.mpg
    FolderA\Capture2a.mpg
Would create three TitleSets as there is no common basename in the files in FolderA.

If you start with BIN files:

    You may have:

    Code:
    FolderA\moviePartA.bin
    FolderA\moviePartB.bin
And expect to get a Single TitleSet. In most cases this will be true. However if moviePartA.bin contains 2 mpegs and moviePartB.bin contains a single mpeg then the mpeg filenames may not have a common base name. It is in these cases that you may not get what you expect....

Thus, in such cases, SVCD2DVD tells you that you have more then one TitleSet. It is now up to you how to procede. You can delete the second TitleSet and just make sure your mpeg Assets are in the first TitleSet (in the order you would like).

Of course you can set things up manually - it take seconds - and you will never get anything you don't anticipate.
