I made a DVD with NeoDVD4 from a wmv file 640x480, 400kbps, audio sample 16 bit, audio sample rate 48HZ, video data rate 327kbps, video sample rate 24 bit. The video and audio were out of synch.
I made the same DVD with Sonic myDVD 4.5 and there were no synch problems.
Can anyone tell me how to make a wmv file so that it won't have synch problems with any DVD buring software? (I'm uploading the videos to the web and don't have any control over what program people will use to make the DVD)
Thanks,
George

If there are no sync problems with the WMV file then its the method of re-encoding that caused the problem, you can't make a wmv file that won't have sync probs with all dvd burning tools as its down to the re-encoder of those tools that determine the output of the conversion and is therefore out of your control.
The only way others will get a dvd from your wmv file thats in sync is by said people using a decent re-encoder such as TMPGenc, ... i have no probs converting WMV files to dvd complient Mpegs using TMPGenc express and then authoring to DVD with TMPG dvd author
