Hi
I have an MPG that I capped with my dazzle card...it is about 700 mb. The quality is good but now I would like to send this video to somebody else. I am very much a noob when it comes to things like this and I really don't know what I should do to make it smaller without recapping the video which is not an option.
Does anybody have any suggestions on what I should do so this file is much smaller so I can send it easier?

How many minutes is your clip and how small would you like to make it? Keep in mind that the smaller it gets the quality decreases.

The video clip is about 20 min -
I guess I would probably like to make it somewhere between 150 and 200 mb...which I think is reasonable but really I have no idea -
thanks for the assistance! -
Microsoft Windows Media Encoder does a pretty good job for compressing and just about everyone can play the files without any problems.
