I have been making VCDs of ENTERPRISE (STAR TREK), and they skip when I play them in my Toshiba SD4700 DVD Player! I used both Easy CD Creator 5 Platinum and VCDEASY. I have tried 80 min and 74 min cds. They are still skipping (just video, but sometimes both audio/video stop for a couple of secs). I really am frustrated, cause I just bought this DVD player yesterday (it is top of the line for me). It seems like the video bitrate is too fast for it, but it is at the same standard as VCD. Is there anything I can do????? PLEASE HELP!!!!! THANKS!

First, you have to find out if it is your player or your vcd's, take them to a store and try them in another player, a pioneer would be a good choice, if they work fine then I would take your toshiba back, if you can, and buy a different player, toshiba's have always been a poor choice for vcd playback, very finicky.
