Hi, i Have made some slideshow in Photo to movie, and import them in to imovie to ad some translation effects. But after i export to .dv pr quicktime the quality seems much less.
Is there anyway to change this.
tnx.

dv output from iMovie isn't the best quality you can get. If you selected a better quality compressor when saving your Photo To Movie clips, you will see a clear downgrade when editing them in iMovie>DV.
I discovered this using iPhoto's slideshow export feature. The images looked great when viewed within iPhoto, but when exported to a dv movie they got soft looking. Then I exported the slideshow again as MPEG-4 it looked— just as sharp and clear as is does within iPhoto.
Plus the resulting movie was 1.3G, while the dv export was over 30G. I then burned a DVD from an iDVD project containing first the 30Gdv footge and then again with the MPEG-4 footage, and after the DVD's MPEG-2 conversion, the smaller MPEG-4 version was still clearly the better looking.
