    Right now I have a Cyberhome 1600 that's region free, plays Divx, and can handle both NTSC and PAL discs. Not bad for $99 bucks. It isn't exactly a high end player, though... a bit quirky and not feature packed.

    Any recommendations on a better DVD Recorder without a massive price tag?
