    Can someone tell me how I can remove file information in an MP3 file?
    Things like artist name etc.

    This is causing me problems.
    I'm splitting up audio books into 5 minute chunks to listen to on my Sony Ericsson W800i.
    I'll rename the files into names like 1.mp3, 2.mp3, 3.mp3 etc.

    The problem is that the damn software on the phone and PC mangles up the first and last files because they have the extra info and renames the files and therefore screws up my order of files!

    Use the CDex Player and after you start to play each song you can click on details and change or delete any info you want.

    cant get it to work.
    it doesnt have an option to open a file.
    after i drag my mp3 into it... it doesn't do anything.
    when i try to close it crashes.
