  1. I just gave it a try and it immediately failed. Here is the log:

  2. Because of FairPlay, of course (which I assume you know).

  3. Fairplay must be apple's DRM? If so it would be nice if they matched the capabilities of downloaded music. At least you can burn that to a cd.

    Yep, it's Apple's DRM scheme. Unfortunately, it's identical to the music DRM scheme in every way except for burning to a CD / DVD: you can't do that with the video downloads.

    This very well may change in the future, though. (but not any time soon)
