  1. I just downloaded TMPGE and encoded a AVI file to MPEG2,(2400) it played great on PowerDVD XP. When I encoded to a MPEG2 with Nero 5.5 I was having troubles playing back in PowerDVD with out of sync audio and video. I do not own a DVD player yet, but after seeing the results I got, I will purchase one. My question is when I encoded a pop up message came up and said I can only encode for 30 days MPEG2. How do I either purchase a MPEG2 encoder for TMPGE, or do I just download another copy of the software. I see they do not sell the software. Thanks

  2. Hi,

    I've created 3 files, a shorcut, batch-file and Registry file that resets the 30 days every-time TMPGEnc is RUN.

    I can provide the files with an accompaning .txt file cause you'd have to edit the file paths.

  3. There are other ways, I just coppied this from somewhere else. If you use the search function sometimes you'll find the answers you seek without having to wait for a reply.
    The 30 day limit can be reset by deleting the following registry key:
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{63902277-B101-4049-8B46-C24B67E155E5}

    Or, make a file "TMPGEnc_MPEG2_Reset.reg" with the following content:

    REGEDIT4
    ; Enables TMPGEnc's MPEG-2 encoder for 30 more days.
    [-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{63902277-B101-4049-8B46-C24B67E155E5}]
    Hope his helps
