I am feeding audio/video from a PC to an A/V system across the room and am experiencing a bit of hum.
I assume this is due to ground loop issues, so I am trying to isolate the PC ground from the A/V ground.
I can replace the audio cable with a toslink cable.
Is there anyway to isolate the video ground?
Also, does anyone know if a 30ft toslink cable is pushing the envelope?
