  1. Hello everyone. So I've just used the IFOedit program to convert an MPEG file to DVD. In the program, I inserted the .m2v file for the video, the mpeg audio file for the audio, and a .sup file for the subtitles. Now it's given me the VIDEO_TS folder with 8 different files: 4 small files and 4 files that are each about 1 GB. When I play back these new DVD files in Nero, the audio and video work beautifully, but the subtitles are nowhere to be found. I also tried it with the VLC player but it did the same thing. As the video plays, I change the subtitle option to 'Track 1', but it just shows a black horizontal box across the middle of the screen where subtitles would be, but there are no words. Anyone know what's going on? Thanks for any help.

You are playing the files in Nero. Have already burned the DVD disc and watched it on your TV?? Try to test your DVD, burn a DVD+ or - RW.
