    When i used VitualDub to add subtitle, and the sub always appear like picture 1
    How to make it like picture 2, i dont want the sub cover the movie

    Add black borders with virtualdub, under video->filters->resize, set the width and height to the same as the source and check expand frame and increase the height.
    Then add the subtitle filter.
