Could not perform end of Disc-at-once
Burn process failed at 2x (2,770 KB/s)
After wasting like 3-4 DVD-R's, I contacted Gateway support and they told me to try a different brand of DVD-R's, then if it doesn't work, let them know so they can send me a new DVD drive.Ali Khan

I use Ridata (Ritek) branded DVD-R's and they have been working fine for the past few months now without any problems. This just happened yesterday. I searched around but couldn't find any information on how to fix this. Also, here is the info from NERO about my DVDRAM.
Any help would be appreciatedNero InfoTool 3.00

DVD Laser may be shot sInce it still burns CDs.They die wothout the least hint. I also have a gateway that came with a DVD/Ram drive. The same exact thing happened to me. Replaced with $70 NEC 3500 from Newegg and been happily burning backups since then.
No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD! -
Yep, I talked to Gateway and they're sending me a new DRIVE. YAY
