The main software you need is grammer version 1, and search version 2.5.

You might also consider basic physics 101, where you learn that something big won't fit into something a lot smaller unless you sqeeze it. Video is the same.

A final hint - if you don't like what shrink is doing after you have read the guides and spent some time with it, add DVD Rebuilder to your search.

Uh, run it through Shrink a second time? And use analysis.

    Use DVD-RB instead.
Drop to HALF D1 resolution too

Ok, seriously, you simply cannot shrink a dvd9 into a dvd5 without compressing it. It is basically a 2 to1 compression so the fact that it is only about the mid 60% is really pretty good already. Will have to do this my friend. Choose only the movie, omit ALL audio tyracks you do not need. In other words just one 5:1 english or whatever language you prefer. That's it!

Now you may not even need compression or alt least, not as much. Use both analysis and other quality settings. These will NOT INCREASE quality. You cannot ever do that. It will diminish the loss of quality you will experience.

Once you are ready to backup, choose create ISO and burn with decrypter. Get your self DVD decrypter to burn the resulting ISO file to a full working DVD.
No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD!
