  1. hi
i've had the r200 for a while now and on my last few disk prints, i've noticed there was something wrong. i made sure i this disk was secure in the caddy and printed. when it was almost finished printing, i actually watched as the disk got shifted ruining the just the ending of the print.

i tried searching to see if someone has posted simliar situations, but didn't seem to be successful.

any tips to keeping the disk even more secure, or checking something on the printer would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks in advance

  2. There have been a few posts here about the tray, some people have got a mark 2 out of Epson, some advocate roughing the rollers, and I advocate the use of strategically placed masking tape...

Here's one link (and my solution) to get you started:

thanks for the reply, i read the post, but i'm not sure its the same problem i described. my tray doesn't get stuck, what's happening is at the end of disk printing the disk shifts a few degrees with the moving pring head(? not sure if that is called the print head) causing it to print the last of dvd at a different angle. maybe i skimmed through the link you suggested, but i didn't quite see anything of that sort. i did see something you describe as banding, but from other posts i've read in the past that doesn't seem to be the same problem. however, i may be wrong.

anybody try the new disk trays? maybe the disks aren't sitting snug enough on my tray.

    thanks
