  1. Hello, I have a large collection of .avi files. I would like to be able to burn multiple files on a dvd that will be able to play on my standalone dvd player (and hence my tv).

I have figured out that I can make vcd's easy enough with Nero, but I would like to be able to put several .avi's onto a single dvd instead of making so many cd's.

Also, is there a faster way to convert than using the Nero to make a single vcd? The processing takes all night!

    Thank you so much.

The first thing I'd check is if your player can play DivX "raw" - check out the DVD Players link to your left.

If so, just burn as a Data DVD and you're good to go.

If not, DivxtoDVD should make this job relatively stress-free. Either that or try the manual way:

There's also other manual ways in the Guides section here:

    If in doubt, Google it.
