  1. I downloaded Star Wreck, it comes as an xvid.avi. Then used WinAVI to convert it to DVD so I could watch it on the TV / DVD player. Works fine in the computer but would not play in the DVD player. After trying a coupla other ways of doing it I finaly grasped the problem, its PAL and my DVD player dosen't like it.
I was going to try DGPulldown to change it to NTSC format but am having troubles on step two of the tutorial..
I then used TmpGEnc... to Demux it to the sound and Video
then it says to make it progresive (not interlaced) not too sure how to tell.
but the real problem comes when it says to resize the (NOW MPEG) to 720 X 480.
How do you resize the MPEG file? what program? Virtual dub sez it dosen't see any frames. (but it plays just fine)

  2. OOPS! I wasted a bunch of effort, time and DVDs !
WinAVI does it all! I missed the NTSC button that does it all for me.
Watching the movie now, worked great!
