Does anyone know the exact overall dimension of a DVD-R in milimeters?

Also, I need the milimeter size of the center hole.

I just purchased an Epson Sylus Pro 200 for printing discs and the software that came with it has two separate settings. 1 setting in milimeter for the inside hole (I'm using hub printable media). The second setting is the milimeter size of the outside of the disc.

Have any of you guys got any experience with this?

I checked in on the label vs. no lable discussion.

I've authored over 600 VHS to DVD and DVD backups using sticky labels and I've never had a problem with any. I just thougt I'd add that.

    Regards to all,

Hey, thanks for the quick response. I looked and looked for a link to that info.

So, what's your opinion on the sticky vs no sticky?

    Just curious.

Well, it's been a big thing for a long time but, i have also done 100's & 100's (& that's a very conservative estimate) of dvd's with sticky labels and personaly, i have never had a problem, not to say people don't, just from my personal experiance, but i think there are more factors involved than just the fact that sticky labels were to blame.

Now on that note, i will never use a sticky label ever again
Just for the fact that since i bought my first R200 and now also have an R300, both with CIS's, the hub printable dvdr's and cdr's look SOOOOOOOOOooooooooo much better!!!!!!! And it's so much easier than farting around with buying labels, printing them, using that damn thing to stick them on a cd or dvd Out of the burner, and into the printer, done!!

    So, you have an R200.

I've got a question. I've just bought mine and am waiting for my media to come in. I've already prepared one document for printing but here's my question. I stretched the picture and it extends beyond the boundaries inside and out. Will the printer automatically crop the inside hole and the outside hole, or do I need to reformat the picture to a circle and use the circle tool for the center hole?

    Thanks again,

Definitely loose the sticky labels and buy some printable discs. Hub printables are approx. 21-22mm I.D. and 116-118 O.D., regular printables are approx. 43-44mm I.D. Depends on the brand. you'll figure it out after a couple. Just make sure to center the drawing on the template.
Videodummy: I stretch it until it is barely bigger than the template. It wil only print the size you set for I.D and O.D.
I love children, girl children... about 16-40
