Corrupt Dvd Help

Ok i have a dvd home movie and i created menus and some extra footage
The main movie is ok but the menus and the extra 5min footage i added to it is corrupt im now stuck with a corrupt dvd and i have no way of extracting the main movie which is not corrupt.God knows which files i need to extract to get the main movie.

I have vts and vob files. there are 2 large 1 gig files and a 500meg file and the rest are small files like 30 meg here 20k here.

i tried dvd shrink it analises the dvd and reads it ok untill 69% and then it says error the movies is at 50% and after that is the extra menus n music n crap i added which is all currupt.

Is there anything i can do to extract the movie.Its a wedding movie and if i dont save it im in trouble.

Please help.I dont want to have to reencode the movie from avi which will take 8 hours.I dont have 8 hours its got to be ready in 2 hours.

I managed to burn all of the files to dvd including the corrupt ones and the main movie plays but it keeps skipping

now i burned it to dvb im going to rip the main movie to the hd using dvd decryptor as it seems to read the disk ok and i shall just select the main movie files and burn it off using one of my cheap disks just to test it out and if it works ok i shall use my tdk disk

either way i shall let you know the results tonight.

If you can get it to open in TDA and do New Project and FIle from DVD ( I think ) you ought to be able to see the main movie and extract than as an MPG2 whith you can quickly author to DVD in the same prog.

GOd knows whats happening but iv made 2 dvds and they keep skipping.

Im not sure if its my player.I will have to try them on my tobisha coz maybe my cyberhome is on its last legs.

Yes, what media? By the way your PC specs are barely enough for Text and internet surfing work let alone video
