what's the avi type if i capture with moviemaker?

i capture dv with windows movie maker, it saves in avi but i can't import these avi in pinnacle studio 8
my capture card is ads pyro 64bit

i also have problem when capturing in winDV and pinnacle
the handycam is in playback but there's no "stream" in my pinnacle studio 8

WMM1 saves DV-AVI files as type II, and WMM2 saves them as type I.

You quite possibly need a DV codec, such as the Panasonic DV Codec, and possibly a Type 1 to Type 2 converter (Canopus have one in the tools section here).
