    I am going to buy a JVC DVD recorder that allows you to record to a DVD-RW but not i am confused about which DVD-RW to buy? i wanted to know what is the difference between both these....

    2X is slow, 1X is twice as slow. It really depends on what your recorder can use as far as the speed. You can look that up for your machine along with other media comments in 'DVD Recorders' to the left under user comments. <<<<
