    Is there a tool that will tell me whether it is PAL or NTSC? I have mediainfo but it tells me everything about the file, except whether its PAL or NTSC

    From the screenshot, if it tells you res. and fps that right there will tell you 8)

    29.97fps is usually NTSC & 25fps is usually PAL 8)

  3. ..or use AVICodec,if they are DVD files use IFOEdit.
    PAL will have 288 or 576 vertical lines,NTSC will have 240 or 480.

    I usually use avicodec also but the program he said he is using shows both res. and fps, i checked the screenshot of it in the tool's.....
