Running 10.3 on a G5. When converting a VOB with subtitle stream to H.264 video in a MP4 container, choosing the "burn" the subtitles to the final video an output error occurs. Under previous versions, using the same VOB file and settings and using the then experimental AVI/H.264, mencoder produces output where the subtitle consists of a very slightly translucent light border with a more translucent interior. If you choose to use the "Preview" option on the same filters pane, you still see this in the preview video. However, after actually burning the file, the interior of the text is solid black. This happens regardless of whether an IFO palette is provided (taking into consideration that an IFO palette was not previously required). While not unwatchable, this discrepancy between the preview and output, as well as with previous versions, seems undesirable. If you wish, I can produce some screen shots. Thanks for your hard work.
