I use to do this all the time with no issues whatsoever however this new problem is mind bogglin to me. In the past if i had a 25 pal video I would use tmpgenc to re encode to Ntsc 23.976 with 3:2 pulldown and then transcode the audio with besweet to 48hz and from 25fps to 23.976. Once completed everything worked fine with no sync issues or anything.
However now whenever I convert the Video from Pal 25fps to Ntsc 23.976 with 3:2 pulldown and transcode the audio as above I get sync issues. The strange part about this entire thing is if I re encode the video to ntsc and leave the audio in its default state but just change it to 48hz the movie plays fine without sync problems.
So Ntsc video and Ntsc sound= sync problem, but Ntsc Video and default Pal sound no sync problems.
Thnx for the help guys.
