    this is the error message i get every time i start svcd2dvd.

    Can you try deleting any dnb_xxxx.xml files in the SVCD2DVD folder to see if that resolves the issue?
    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.
