  1. I have program that makes an avi video out of snap shots. I am having trouble finding a way to add sound. I am making vcd's and would like some background music. can anyone help

    Well I have a video editor on my computer called Adobe Premiere 6, and that lets me do what you're looking for. You just import your sound file, drag it onto the timeline where you want it, mess with it with fade-ins and fade-outs... Then you export it to AVI and run it through TMPGenc for your final VCD-ready file.

    Also, for a more brute force way is to get a WAV file or mp2 file (never tried mp3) and multiplex them together with the already made MPEG stream, and generate a new file with the audio in it.
