I'd like to cut out all the junk footage from hours-worth of imported avi clips currently on my PC, and resave the chopped up good clips as avis for my clip library. I've tried Easy Video Splitter and it works, but setting the in/out split points is cumbersome, using the frame fwd/back controls.
Are there splitters that can take advantage of my ShuttlePro II and its excellent control functions?
My main NLE is Vegas 6.
Many thanks.

One of the virtualdub variants can be used to copy out the good bits. If you have a DV codec on your system, and plenty of disk space. I also use Scenalyzer’s “split at cursor” function. Scenalyzer full version costs $39.00 but is well worth it, in my opinion.Emray holdar naaro watt -
Thanks FulciLives & holdar.
Dead easy and accurate, preferably with jog/shuttle wheel frame-by-frame control is what I'm after, so I'm still looking.
