Hey Guys, I'm kind of a newbie when it comes to the whole saving images onto a CD thing so please bear with Me..Now here is My problem..I have numerous images that I've created on Photoshop that I'd like to save onto either a CD-R or CD-RW disc and for some reason It doesn't appear to be working. As far as My setup goes I am using a Compaq Presario with an I/O Magic Internal Double Layer/Dual Format DVD+RW/+R Burner. I am using the Nero Express 6 software that came with the Burner and recording onto Memorex CD-R and CD-RW Discs. Nero burns the images onto the disc and tells me the job is complete but for some reason when I put the disc into the computer no icon for the disc is shown on the desktop. Can someone PLEASE tell Me how to save the images onto the discs so I can access them anytime I want when I put them in the computer? I world truly appreciate any advice that any of You Guys and Gals might have out there. Thanks

Do you mean .JPG or .PSD photos? If so I know of no reason they couldn't be copied, either with Nero or Windows CD burning software. Does the CD show up in 'My Computer'?

Or do you mean something different?

I don't now what you mean by
" want to see the icon appear on the desktop sort of like a zip disc so i can just click on it"

If you did not set up your drive's prefferences so it AUTO loads and open discs, then you will not any such icon or whatever on your desktop. You also left out what OS you were using. Only XP with auto open like that. Not sure about others.

Does the back of the CD appear to be burned?

Can you simply double click My Computer and see it the drive that corresponds to yours is shown that it has a readable disc in it. It will say NEW if you did not name it while burning. If you see that, double click that and it should open it.

    NewJak:

After seeing that you have titled the CD burn, Nero should prompt you to specify which titles (image files, etc), you want burned. It may work better for you to dump all of the files into a named folder(s) and burn that to disc.

XP does simplify the autorun sequence as well...hint. Nero Express 6 with Win ME is iffy too, especially with burner drivers like yours.
