I am burning 5 episodes of a show and for some reason SVCD2DVD is showing "Half D1 FS TV" in the log. FS TV? The content is 16:9. Worse yet, I just burned a few episodes last week and it outputed 16:9 just fine!

I noticed the log will says normally say "Looking for AVI PAR", then it will say "AVI is 16:9, VTS will be 16:9". Here it looks for it, but never says it will be 16:9.

What's going on? CrissyBoy, I will email you the log. I am using the latest release from the website. Thanks!

sounds like your source is different from the first set you used. Are you making them yourself or did you get them from elsewhere?

Now I realized that when it says VTS will be 16:9, it is actually stretching the Aspect Ratio, so it's like 16:9 Stretched! Maybe S2D is having a hard time distinguishing if the file is actually 16:9 when it is. Geez this is a pain.

It is because you have add so many assets (in terms of duration) that it is encoding in half-d1 (which doesn't support 16:9). 3000kbs is the threshold by default for the change from full to half d1. To fit the lenght of footage you want S2D has to encode @ 2592 kb/s.

Solution: reduce the asset duration or add the following in the registry:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Badger I.T.\SVCD2DVD 2.0\FULLD1BITRATEMIN

as a string and give it a value under 3000. In this case 2000 should do it.
