Maybe upload a screenshot of the exact error TMPGEnc gives you ?

How do I upload screenshots ?

Your MPEG is definitely MPEG-1 ?

Use the latest GSpot Beta (2.52) to check the specs of your MPEG file.
    If in doubt, Google it.

Check your environmental settings: In general tab - that your temp directory is selected and there's room in it, in cpu tab - that the first 4 boxes are checked.

I'm assuming the file plays ok without audio sync issues?

I'm also assuming you've successfully converted this file with tmpgenc on the new computer rather than the old?

You must click browse and select where to save the new file or type in the harddrive partition like:
    c:\test.mpg
    just
    test.mpg
    wont work.
