Does someone knows how to encode a swf file (or if it is possible?) or how to transform it in a mpeg or avi file?

I once was able to open and encode an swf file with tmpgenc. It was after I had installed several flash making programs and I think tmpgenc borrowed tools from that software. I can't do it anymore because I've since wiped my hardrive. And I'm sorry, I can't remember which programs I installed because it was so long ago. But it can be done.

there are several programs for converting swf to avi (there even one called swf2avi). From there it is only a short hop to mpeg.
    Read my blog here.

Yo can do as it's been suggested here. Use swf2avi to covenrt the file to AVI and then you can use Vegas' MainConcept (or the stand-alone version), TMPGEnc or any other encoder to render the file as MEPG2.

As I recall, WinAVI will convert SWF to Mpeg directly.
