    Was watching an avi file in media player 10...now.....there is no picture....just sound.....what's happenend??? I don't recall changing anything.....any help would be appreciated........

    Try other media players. Windows media palyer is too buggy imo.

    MPC VLC etc..

    nothing is working.......sound all round.no picture....this is the first time I have had a problem with media player.....

    Sounds like a codec problem then. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the codec.

    it would also help if we knew more about the file you are watching...".avi" is a pretty generic term...what kind of avi is it? divx? xvid?
