I have read the manual for my MOBO many times. It mentions little to nothing about specifics of HDDs. I have went over and over the information included in the manuals regarding HDDs. The link you gave me isn't loading, but nevertheless, I have the manual and it doesn't talk into detail about the HDDs. No manual came w/ the HDDs.
[EDIT]I found out how to create a partition via Disk Management!![]()
[/EDIT]
I really am trying here, i'm not just looking for you guys to give me all the answers, all though it may seem that way.
Thanks.

I know you're trying.....I'm trying to help you out....I know how frustrating it can be when you can't get something to work correctly....
The link I provided is fine it takes long to load because you have dialup.
Hopefully SP2 will solve your problems.
Glad to hear you found out how to make a partition! -
That link is the same exact manual that came w/ the MOBO. It doesn't tell crap about HDDs.
I'm hoping that it'll all work out w/ SP2, if not, i'm out of ideas. -
I thought you figured out how to partition that 200gb hard drive.
-
I did, but we were trying to figure out how to solve the 137GB barrier problem at the time. I think everything is cool now, just waiting on a disc in the mail.
BTW, you think I should run that big drive enabler before I partition and format the 200GB drive or after? Or run it after I partition but before format? I guess I can just experiment, just figured i'd ask.
Thanks -
I gave up on having a single partition on my 200gig when I couldn't get a bios upgrade for my Asus board. It was much easier just to create 2 partitions. Helps to keep stuff separated anyway. It's no big deal.

Thanks for all the help!!! -
I had your same problem when I first got my 200Gig WD drive. Would only recognize 127 Gigs. Then I slipstreamed my XP disk with SP2, reinstalled, and it saw my full 200 Gigs.
If you have a standalone XP disk, just boot from the disk to wipe your drive and reset your partition. If you want another OS on your drive, all you do is created a dual-boot setup by creating two partitions, then installing the older first and the newer second. At bootup you can choose between either one you want to use. I do it all the time.
