Hello one and all,
Got a quick question on menu's. Typically, I use Tmpg to author my dvd's but have run into a problem with my most recent disk. I have tried looking through the program and trying different things but it doesnt seem to be able to do this.
Here is the situation:
I have 4 "movies" and a bunch of "extras" that i wish to put on a dvd. All told, its well less than 2 hours of material and approximately 3.3gig worth of data. What I would like to do is place all 4 "movies" each with their own menu and then add ALL "extras" in a separate meny entry, and then having to click on the "extras" menu to get to all the individual extras files. Ie: if i was using Windows explorer, the equivalent would be placing 4 files into one directory and then placing a few more into a subdirectory.
Can this be done with Tmpg? Im thinking it cant but I have been wrong before. If not, can someone recommend a program that would enable me to do this?
Thank you very much in advance.
LG

Using TDA -
Create new project
1st movie - Add file/choose MPEG/add chapters (if required)
Add new track
2nd - movie Add file/choose MPEG/add chapters
Add new track
3rd - movie Add file/choose MPEG/add chapters
Add new track
4th movie - Add file/choose MPEG/add chapters
Add new track
Inport all your extra's into the same track. He's a liar and a murderer, and I say that with all due respect. -

steveryan's suggestion will give you a main menu to select each film, and then the film and its extras will all be in the chapters.
DVDLab Pro should do what you want, but it's more complicated than TDA - be prepared to do a lot of reading, learning and experimenting before getting what you want.
