I need to replace my 17" CRT monitor and 20" (bedroom) TV with either a 17" or (if finances permit) 19" black TFT monitor/TV combination.
Do I simply need to look out for a monitor with a tuner capability?
If this is the only specification I need to look out for will the unit accept a standard (UK) RF input?
If anyone has one and can recommend it I'd be very grateful.
    hMany thanks,

I know they are out there, but seeing how we are not in the same country I'm not sure what suggestions to make.

I also know that here in the US Viewsonic makes a box you can plug your monitor into and then a VCR or something with a tuner in it and do TV on the monitor or even Picture in Picture with one being DATA the other TV.

  3. Why not get a TV Tuner card for the PC, and use one or the other of your existing devices?

Good idea, I never thought of that.
I figure a tv/monitor combination would be a safer bet, and the increased cost for adding a tuner to a monitor would be cheaper than a decent tv card.
In any case, I really want to utilise a liteon dvd recorder upstairs in the bedroom and record via the signal (in the bedroom), so I'll input the signal directly to the recorder and then output to the monitor.
