Im interested in buying a DVD recorder. The one im after is has around 260GB of harddrive space but its almost £500 where as the other one which has 180GB space is almost £380 so i was wondering is there a possibility for me to buy the £180 DVD player and then purchase a hard drive myself and fit it in? or does this not work with DVD players?
Thanks

In theory it is possible: alot of people update their Sky+ 40GB HD to 250GB but there are alot of constraints on the make & type of the new drive. Best thing to do is google around for info on success with that DVDR or check digitalspy forums for users experience.
