Duh!

I took my son to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory when it opened and we were going to see it again, but it's no longer in the regular theaters. There's a dollar cinema that's playing it, but I don't like going there. It's old and dirty and old and dirty. What do you expect for a dollar, right?

Anyway, I plan on getting the DVD when it comes out, but he really liked the movie so I obtained a copy of it, but it was in .img format. My version of Nero is an older OEM that came with my DVD burner, so I couldn't just burn the image. I downloaded a few tools, but none of them worked. Finally, I tried daemon tools and I was able to watch the movie on my pc, but my intention was to create a DVD so we can watch it on the living room tv.

To make a long story short, I was looking in the menu options to extract the file for about five minutes. I was getting irritated, because I couldn't find anything and if the program can emulate a drive, why can't it extract the files? Then my brain kicked in. Wait... emulate.. a drive. So I realized that I don't need to extract anything and I'm now using Nero's smart center to copy the 'disc.' In a couple of minutes Noah and I will be able to watch 'Winny Wonka' on 'da tv' and everyone is happy.

Any duh moments you'd like to share?

my DUH was I couldn't understand why my AMD pc wouldn't boot up. I had to recheck everything and low and behold I didn't have the power cord plugged in.....

btw going a bit off topic.... that wallace theater dollar movie house is freaking crowded from what my friends told me.....the choc.chip cookies are crappy and expensive...my cousin's kid wanted some but when they found out the price she only got him 4....then he ate one and said it was the worse choc.chip cookie he ever had....his mom told him and you beta eat all of it.....
