hi i have a nec 3520a and I can burn cds,dvds, and just about anything. It will read and play audio cds and will read my dvd rs but it wont play my original dvd movies. it use to work just fine I just did a fresh install of windows cuz I built a new pc and now I cant watch dvds on my pc. I tried 5 dvd's and windvd power dvd divx and wmp and nothing with play. The original dvds wont even show up in my computer but the dvd r I have the drive fins with no problem. Also I have a few movie i had backed up and those aren't reconized either. I have win xp home
